Waltz Balance Steps: Perform all steps?
Posted by Jacksonuk

Reviewing moves in Bronze, American Waltz and I've asked this question to my peers (and then forgot the answer) too many times that I'm embarrassed to ask them again.

Question: In the Balance Steps, the Lead moves the couple forward then back and then side to side. Is it necessary for the lead to execute all four directions or can the lead choose to simply go just forward and back/to go just side to side?

Thank you.
